Documentary film about a Cologne school class in which children who have newly arrived in Germany from abroad learn German and at the same time are prepared for the German school system. Ute Vecchio, the teacher of class B206, has a maximum of two years to make the children, who are very different in every respect (and of different ages), "fit" for what comes afterwards. The film accompanies the sometimes turbulent everyday life of the class, shows the difficulties and conflicts, but also the experiences of success.
