A pilot crashes over the Sahara. When he goes to repair his machine, the "little prince" comes down to him from outer space and tells of his visits to other planets. He sees the dark sides of life with the eyes of an innocent child and resists vanity, greed for money, death and war. One sees well only with the heart. The essential is invisible to the eyes.
